VALLEY OF THE SON CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES is dedicated to supporting families and individuals who are facing hardship due to natural disasters (such as floods or fires), or who are struggling to meet basic needs like food and shelter. Because we rely on public donations, we are committed to using funds responsibly and equitably.

Who We Help:

• Individuals or households facing emergency food, clothing.
• People experiencing temporary hardship (job loss, medical issues, school -supplies needs etc.)

We do not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, or background. However, we do requirebasic documentation and a formal application to ensure fairness and transparency.

Steps to Apply:

Complete the Assistance Request Form

Please fill out our official application form online or in person. Required information includes contact details, hardship description, household members, and type of assistance.

 Submit Supporting Documentation

This must include:

1. ID for all adult household members
2. Proof of address- Photos of damage (for disaster-related claims)
3. Income verification or unemployment letter (if applicable)
4. Referral letter from a community leader or caseworker (optional)

Application Review

• Our team will review your application within 5-7 business days.
• You may be contacted for a phone or in-person interview.
• You will be notified of the decision and next step Assistance Provided

1. If approved, you may receive:
2. Emergency grocery boxes
3. Clothing or supplies
4. Temporary shelter assistance
5. Disaster recovery support

Important Notes:

1. Incomplete applications cannot be reviewed.
2. Priority may be given to applicants who have not received help in the past 6 months.
3. Assistance is not guaranteed due to high demand.
